James D. A. Terry, born in Belleville, Ontario, Canada in 1949, has always felt more comfortable communicating through his writing. He was born with an innate comprehension of words, their spelling, meanings and uses. Then as a youth he began writing poetry but it didn’t give him a sense of personal fulfillment. Later he set out to write a science fiction, mystery, adventure novel but never finished.
Before turning his hand to his passion, the British mystery novel, he wanted to pass on what he had learned from his years of constantly searching for the perfect financial instruments. The simplicity of his insight is captured in, Freeman or Serf, a guidebook so small as to seem insignificant but the contents will be life changing.
He began writing full time for his own enjoyment after he retired and found that writing mysteries became quite addictive. His tales of mystery, suspense and adventure are spun with dry, acerbic wit. The characters and setting are described in exceptionally rich detail. James is brilliant at creating a sense of realism so powerful you will feel that you are witnessing the events.
He is currently working on Chasing the Wendigo penned under the pseudonym. Justin Case.
